Our jewellery is made from the tagua nut, a seed of a palm tree that grows in the Ecuadorian Rainforest.
Tagua, known as "vegetable ivory", offers a vegan alternative to elephant ivory. Thus our name - The Happy Elephant! It's beautiful to the touch, takes a high polish, and absorbs vegetable dyes easily. Our customers love the feel and beauty of this natural material!
