These truly are the Stars of the Show - the tagua nuts themselves. The tagua nuts grow on the female palm tree Phytelephas aequatorialis meaning "Equatorial plant elephant" because the nuts closely resemble ivory! The jewellery we sell is made from carved and dyed pieces of this nut, however we now have in stock a number of these beautiful nuts for sale. Many love them because they are so tactile and smooth, perfect for holding as a stress reliever, or as a beautiful decorative piece for your home.
The 'natural' nut has most of the outer shell left intact and just been polished. The 'marbled' nut has been polished more, showing veins of shell and interior. The 'blanco' nut has been polished even further revealing the creamy white vegetable ivory.
Each nut is approximately 6cm x 4cm x 4cm (each nut is unique)
One nut costs £29.95 but there is the option of buying 1 of each type for the discounted amount of £85 (see the drop down list)
